Latino man shot in the head by LAPD

Yesterday around 6:30 pm, two LAPD officers shot down a 40 year old Latino man in the head in the Los Feliz area. The man tried to approach the officers asking for help with a towel wrapped around one of his arms. The officers assumed he had a gun and shot him three times, at least once in the head. He was handcuffed after being shot. It has now been revealed the man did not have a gun or weapon of any sort.  His name is not given, however the man is currently in critical condition.
