David reading these comments and seeing the ignorance prove his point. Even when you simplify shit, white people (desperate to stay willfully ignorant so they can maintain white supremacy) don’t get what’s right in front of their face. 

reading the comments on this hurts my head. it’s so clearly an analogy showing how retorts like “all lives matter” to “black lives matter” do nothing but ignore the problem being presented by “black lives matter” and re-centers the focus off of that problem but instead to the our societal default which is white people and whiteness. it’s plain to see and yet we have people talking about ordering food, did david order, david getting up and getting his own food, david bothering people and etc. it’s also no coincidence that those comments are in the same vein as those made to shout down black people whenever we talk about things like racism and white privilege.

also i love the ppl calling this a poor metaphor while displaying that they don’t get what it’s trying to say in the first place. how can you call it a poor metaphor if you don’t understand the intent? that’s like telling a cook that a meal was made wrong when you know nothing of the dish or the recipe. lmao. that’s how you know someone is willfully ignorant.

altho i’m kinda mad you explain it because i enjoyed watching these fools twist themselves to excuse the clear wrong here. i see people asking if david ordered food hahaha. did anyone else order food? another person was like “did david pay for his food?” does this describe other people paying for food? and on and on and on and on. these are the same kind of excuses and willfully ignorant shit white ppl and coons say when confronted about white racism, discrimination, white privilege and more. 

also i’m taking that cooking/recipe analogy haha. can you imagine someone telling a cook “you made this gazpacho wrong! it’s cold! wtf?!?!” lmao!
